Murray Middleman,  is a graduate of The University of the Arts, Philadelphia and has worked in the Jazz scene with many leading stars of Jazz including, Buddy Rich, Al Grey and Jimmy Forest from the Count Basie Orchestra . He also toured with Philly soul singer Teddy Pendergrass. Murray relocated to Pasadena /Los Angeles California in 1982, where he performed with the music icons Frank Sinatra  and Sammy Davis Jr.   He has also toured with The Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Murrays specialties and methods:
 For Saxophonists:   Murray works with Saxophone students at all levels of ability. This includes the experienced pro players, wanting to learn the most cutting-edge Michael Breaker licks , to the beginner, needing to simply get a good sound,  and  learn how to play in tune with accuracy. 
On flute, Murray will help the student to develop a full tone, Advanced flute students will learn specialized double & triple tongue articulations. Lastly, we will help you perform J.S. Bach  AND OTHER Baroque   composers   and finally learn  how to play successfully in the Jazz and Latin style of flute playing .
Clarinet players will find that Murray is a vast storehouse of knowledge. he will share with many concepts of technique, style, as well as the subtle secrets of being an excellent artist on the clarinet.
